mixed experience, some issues encountered
slippery staircase heavy bass
the room was clean.
Accessing the hotel proved difficult. many stairs exist, including a long, slippery metal staircase outside. the pub below created significant noise. The bass was very heavy, disrupting sleep. i needed rest, but didn't feel rested at all.

A REALLY nice stay!
excellent parking cute owner beautiful interior
Paul greeted us warmly. He showed us the hotel. The family suite was much larger than expected. Beds were comfortable, and toiletries and towels were provided. There are shops right in front. Everything is one minute away!!!
There weren't many dining options nearby. This minor inconvenience didn't detract significantly from our enjoyable stay.

good size television building character comfortable bed slippery metal staircase extra fee late check-in
The room offered a good size television. The building displayed plenty of character. The bed proved comfortable, and it was quiet even with the window open.
Access to the hotel involved lots of stairs. A long, slippery metal staircase was located outside. I paid an extra fee for checking in late, and I had to wait to be let in.

loud pub heavy bass
the noise was a real issue . i wasn't told how loud the pub below the hotel was. the heavy bass made it difficult to sleep. i really needed a good night's rest but definitely didn't feel it.

the owner was very helpful. he called me before arrival to check all was good. he took time to show me how everything worked when i arrived. the room was clean.
accessing the hotel was difficult. there were lots of stairs. the metal staircase outside was slippery. it was unusual that no one was on site.

lovely stay near goodison
helpful owner tea facilities coffee facilities useful fridge
the owner, paul, was helpful, he even assisted with our luggage. our room was a beautiful king room. it had tea and coffee making facilities. the fridge in the room was also very useful.
parking was a bit tricky, as many nearby streets require resident permits, but we managed eventually.

the location was ideal for visiting goodison park. it was within easy walking distance. several shops and fast food outlets are nearby, so we had many dining options, it was practical.
